TEXAS SHEET CAKE AND ICING 
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to boil. 2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/2 c. sour cream 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, water and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Mix flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add boiled liquid; beat very well with mixer. Add eggs, sour cream and soda. Beat well again, then add vanilla. Pour into a greased, floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil (when cake is just about cooled). Beat with a mixer (rather thick at first. Pour on cake. I top mine with 1/2 chopped nuts.
