QUICK DISH HAM STEAK WITH
POTATOES AND ONIONS

1 smoked ham steak
2 lg. potatoes
2 lg. onions
Oil for frying

In a fry pan, heat oil and carefully saute sliced onions for about 5 minutes. Add potatoes (cubed) and sprinkle the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper and lemon pepper seasoning (add a little water to loosen it up). Do not add salt, the ham is salty enough. Stir often, then cover. Add water as needed. Cook until potatoes are soft, about 15 minutes. Trim the fat from the ham steak and cut into pieces. Move the potatoes and onions to one side of pan and lay ham pieces on the bottom of pan, cover the ham with the mixture and do the same on the other side of pan, then spread the potatoes and onions over the ham and cover it to heat the ham through. The ham is already cooked so it just needs to be heated. Add water if necessary. Serve with broccoli if desired.
