GREEN BEANS WITH BACON 
For 4 Servings You Will Need:

1 lb. (4 c.) Italian or fresh snap beans, cut into 1-inch pieces or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut beans, slightly thawed
2/3 c. long-grain rice
1 1/3 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
6 slices bacon
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. each salt and fine herbes
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. water
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. dried dill weed
dash of salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Preparation Time: 15 minutes. Cooking Time 10 to 15 minutes.

These full-flavored, zesty beans are easy to prepare and go well with variety of meats. The flavors work wonderfully well together and make a nice change from simple buttered beans.
