CRAZY CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa (powdered)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt into an ungreased 8 x 8 glass baking dish. Make 3 depressions in the dry ingredients. Pour oil into one, vinegar into one and the vanilla extract into one. Pour water over all and mix thoroughly with a fork to moisten all of the dry ingredients.

Bake 30 minutes or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Makes 9 servings.
