DATE - NUT TORTE 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped

Beat eggs thoroughly. Add sugar gradually. Add vanilla. Add baking powder and flour. Mix well and add dates and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes in 8 or 9 inch square pan. Serve with whipped cream.
