2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt 2 sticks butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, add 1 cup water. Bring to rapid boil. (In microwave approximately 4 minutes.) Pour over dry ingredients. Mix.

Add: 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla

Bake in cookie sheet with edge 17 x 11 x 3/4. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes.

ICING:

Melt:

Add: 6 tbsp. buttermilk

Bring to boil.

Add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts

Spread while hot over cake that is warm. Can be spread as soon as you take cake from the oven.
