BUTTERMILK MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
3/4 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Flour

Mix ground beef and egg, add remaining ingredients except flour, in order listed. Mix well, form into loaf and place in baking pan. Rub small amount of flour on top of loaf. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until done. Serves about 6.
