COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. flake coconut
2 tbsp. plain flour
2 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt. Stir in egg whites and extract. Mix well. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes until edges are browned. Remove at once from pan. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
