COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. shredded coconut
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 egg whites (unbeaten)
1/2 tsp. almond

Combine coconut, sugar, salt and flour in a bowl. Stir in egg whites and almonds. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.

Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees or until golden brown around edges. Remove at once. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen. May be doubled.
