DAMN GOOD STEAK MARINADE
In case you're unfamiliar, apple butter is commonly found near peanut butter, jelly, and other spreads at the supermarket. Musselman's is the brand I use.

6 (8 oz. ea.) petite sirloin steaks (my favorite)

MARINADE:

1/3 cup apple juice (not from concentrate is best)
3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup apple butter (thickens the marinade)
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. whole black peppercorns
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. chili powder (optional)

Gather all marinade ingredients and combine them in your favorite sealable container (or Ziploc bag).

Note: I always use a fork to poke holes in the steak on both sides. Do this vigorously to each of them and you will have a steak that is extra tender and flavorful, and one you will not soon forget!

Add steaks to marinade and let sit for at least 12 hours in refrigerator for best flavor and tenderness.

Grill to desired doneness and enjoy!
