BEEF ROAST SLOPPY JOES | |
Sloppy Joes made with pre-cooked beef roast (a tasty and unique way to use up those leftovers) and a rich, savory sauce. 1 1/2 lbs. cooked beef roast, chopped 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup ketchup 1 small white onion, diced 1 tsp. minced garlic Brioche, onion, or sesame seed hamburger buns Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until brown sugar is dissolved. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes. Serve on toasted hamburger buns. NOTES: • Add cheese slices or crispy fried onions to your sandwich if desired. • Chop the beef more coarsely if you'd prefer a chunkier texture. • Try serving Beef Roast Sloppy Joes open-faced over garlic bread or Texas toast!
