GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
8 med. potatoes 1 sm. grated onion 1/4 c. hot water 1 beef bouillon cube 3 tbsp. rice vinegar 5 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 tbsp. parsley (optional) 4 slices bacon, fried & crumbled (bacon bits may be used) Boil potatoes until tender. Cool and peel. Slice thinly into bowl. In smaller bowl dissolve bouillon cube into 1/4 cup hot water. Add remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes; mix well. Let stand until ready to serve. Best if made 1 hour before serving. |
