RUMMY - RAISIN OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
4 c. old fashioned rolled oats
3/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. Meyer's rum
1 c. walnut meats

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Do not substitute for any of the ingredients or this extraordinary delectible concoction will not be achieved - believe me, they're worth it! Soak raisins in rum in small bowl; set aside.

Beat butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well between each addition.

Combine soda, salt and flour in a separate bowl, then add to butter mixture. Add soaked raisins and walnut meats, blending well. Fold in the oats until well blended. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
