PEACH CARAMEL COBBLER 
8 c. sliced peaches (fresh, frozen or canned), well drained
10 slices white bread, crusts trimmed off
1 egg
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
sifted powdered sugar (optional garnish)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread peaches in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Arrange bread in single layer over peaches.

In medium bowl, beat egg lightly. Beat in butter, sugar and vanilla. Blend well and spread over bread layer.

Bake until golden brown, about 45 to 50 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
