STOVE TOP PORK CHOPS CASSEROLE 
6 pork chops
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
1 qt. tomatoes
1 pt. water

Roll pork chops in flour and brown in hot shortening. Pour off excess fat. Add tomatoes, water, rice, salt and pepper. Simmer together until rice is done.
