2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. self rising flour
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 egg white
1 c. ground pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and cinnamon. Add egg yolk. With beater, mix thoroughly and spread thinly on greased cookie sheet. Brush over top with beaten egg white. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
