COFFEE FUDGE CAKE | |
1 pkg. devils food cake mix 1 (8 oz.) sour cream 1/2 c. cooking oil 1/2 c. water 4 eggs 1 (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix 2 tbsp. orange peel (opt.) 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits 1/4 c. coffee liqueur May substitute 1/4 cup brandy with 4 rounded tablespoons dry instant coffee. Grease and flour bundt pan. Combine cake mix, sour cream, oil, water, eggs, pudding mix, liqueur, orange peel and cinnamon. Beat until well blended, about 4 minutes. Stir in chocolate bits. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Makes 12 to 16 servings. |
