ITALIAN BEANS 
2 med. onions, diced
Approx. 2 lbs. fresh pole beans
1 lg. can tomatoes
Salt, pepper, garlic salt, oregano to taste
2 tbsp. olive oil

Trim sides of beans (French style). Wash thoroughly and put in large pot. Add all ingredients at the same time. Add about 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook slowly until done. You may add potatoes and/or squash (yellow) on top about 30 minutes before it is done.
