WITCHES BREW (THE GOOD KIND) | |
1 apple, sliced 1 orange, sliced 1 cup dried rose petals 3 cinnamon sticks 3 slices ginger root 1 gallon jug apple cider SPICE OPTIONS: 1 heaping tbsp. nutmeg, coriander, clove, or a mix of any Pour cider over all ingredients and bring to a simmer. After five minutes of simmering, add your chosen herbs and spices. Simmer for two hours (you can simmer it for longer to keep it hot, but at least two hours). Apples and rose petals will cook down, the orange slices will not, so I suggest kind of massaging the orange a bit to pop the cells and release juice before slicing), strain (optional), and serve warm or hot. Feel free to garnish glasses with a cinnamon-sugar rim or just a plain cinnamon stick in the glass! Submitted by: Ben |
