CINNAMON CRISPS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder (omit if using self rising flour)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In a large bowl cream shortening and 3/4 cup sugar. Add 1/2 of flour mixture and milk. Then add remaining flour mixture. Form rounded teaspoon of dough in ball and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet and press into 1/8" thick circle. Bake 10 minutes or until light brown. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
