6 eggs, separated
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. heavy cream
1-2 bottles ginger ale
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
2 pkg. strawberries, partially thawed; optional

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar; beat until very stiff. In a separate bowl beat cream until stiff. In another bowl beat egg yolks; fold into egg white and sugar mixture. Add cream. Place egg mixture into serving bowl just before party. Put in block of ice cream; add berries. Pour ginger ale over.
