ORIENTAL COLESLAW 
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded or chopped
2 pkg. Ramen type soup mix (Oriental) any flavor
1/2 c. sliced almonds
2-3 tbsp. sesame seeds

DRESSING:

Seasoning packets from soup mixes
1 c. rice vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. sesame oil
1/2 to 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh ginger; optional

Set oven to 350 degrees. On large cookie sheet with sides crumble Ramen noodles and sprinkle with almonds and sesame seeds. Toast until lightly browned, about 10 minutes but watch carefully! Remove from oven and cool. Place cabbage in large bowl. Stir in toasted noodle mixture. Whisk together all dressing ingredients. Pour over salad, toss and serve immediately. Do not dress salad early or cabbage will wilt. Serves 10-12. Recipe also could be halved.
