ICEBOX COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
2 sticks butter
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts, chopped
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix sugar and shortening by hand, add eggs, sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Make into rolls and put into refrigerator for a few hours. Slice and bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes. Roll of dough may be frozen for later use. Makes 4 rolls.
