1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. grated orange rind
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. pecans

Cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat well. Add orange juice and orange rind. Add sifted flour and soda and fold in nuts. Blend all together and divide into 3 parts. Roll in wax paper and then in freezer paper. Refrigerate or freeze. Slice and bake 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
