1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. nuts

Sift flour, sugar, soda and cinnamon. Add apples and mix. Add egg, nuts, melted butter and vanilla; stir until moist. Bake in 8x8 pan for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with Cool Whip.
