CHEESY APPLE TARTS
2 c. Pillsbury all-purpose flour, sifted
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded or grated Cheddar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Combine above ingredients cut in butter until particles are fine.

1/3 c. milk

Sprinkle milk over mixture while stirring with a fork until dough holds together. Form into a ball. Wrap and chill 1/2 hour.

PIE FILLING:

1 c. apple pie filling
1/4 c. raisins

Mix together. Cut apples in pieces.

On a floured board, roll out dough mixture about 1/8 inch thick. Cut rounds 2 3/4 inches diagonal - one half of them - on an ungreased cookie sheet. The remaining half should be set aside.

Place a spoonful of filling on each round (well rounded spoonful). Cut a cross on remaining rounds and put over top of filling and seal edges with a fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until light brown.
