APPLE TART 
6 lg. Cortland apples or Mcintosh
3/4 c. sugar, mix brown and white sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Put some of this mixture in a prepared unbaked crust. Stand apple quarters up all around and in middle until all filled. Sprinkle rest of mixture on top of apples and dot with butter. Sprinkle with more cinnamon if you like. Bake until brown and apples are done. Yields 8 servings.
