RHUBARB BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. rhubarb, chopped
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Beat in milk and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt, and stir into creamed mixture. Fold in rhubarb. Spoon half of batter into a greased loaf pan. Mix together the 2 1/2 teaspoons of sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spoon half of mixture on batter. Spoon on remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake 1 hour.
