HOMEMADE SAUSAGE 
2 lbs. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal (opt.)
2 1/2 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cayenne
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 bay leaf, crushed
Dash of celery seed

First mix seasonings together, making sure they are all the same fine consistency. Then mix very well with ground meat. Form into patties and fry. Yield: 16 to 18 patties.
