PECAN PUMPKIN PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1/3 c. white sugar
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2/3 c. corn syrup
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Stir together 1 slightly beaten egg, pumpkin, 1/3 cup sugar and pie spice. Spread over bottom of unbaked pie shell. Combine 2 beaten eggs, corn syrup, 1/2 cup sugar, butter, vanilla and pecans. Pour over first mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until filling is set.

I love this recipe!!

My X-husband wanted pecan pie and my son wanted pumpkin pie so when I saw this one I went with it and I'm glad I did!!!
It's not to sweet and the layers did Not blend together which is what I wanted.

I did tweak it some I added an 1/8 teaspoon of sherry vinegar and an 1/4 cup molasses into the corn syrup so the total was 2/3 cup and I used 1 (8-inch) metal cake pan. OH, I added the salt into the pecan mixture because it did not specify where to put it.

I WILL BE MAKING THIS NEXT YEAR
