BEACHCOMBER QUICHE | |
3 eggs 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp. 1 c. cottage cheese 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 c. grated cheddar cheese (4 oz.) 1/2 c. chopped, cooked bacon or ham Grease 1 9" pie pan; set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Beat in cream cheese, cottage cheese and butter until almost smooth. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture until thoroughly blended. Beat in milk until thoroughly blended. Pour evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle evenly with cheddar cheese and bacon or ham. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in preheated oven until mixture is firm in center. Cut into 12 to 15 small wedges; serve warm. Makes 12 to 15 appetizer servings. |
