SARAH'S BED AND BREAKFAST OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST | |
3 eggs 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. vanilla 6 slices egg, french or sourdough bread sliced 3/4 inch thick In medium bowl whisk together all ingredients. Pour over bread slice on a baking sheet, refrigerate overnight or at least 12 hours. In skillet melt the butter, slowly fry bread over moderate heat until golden brown. Garnish with sour cream and a sprinkling of pecans and dust with confectioners' sugar. Serve with cinnamon syrup. |
