COMPANY CREAMED CORN | |
2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen cut corn 1 1/2 c. half & half or milk 3 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. chives 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. butter 3 tbsp. corn flake crumbs 1 tbsp. butter Empty corn into 2-quart microwave-safe casserole. Combine cream, sugar, salt, flour and chives; mix until flour is dissolved. Pour over corn. Add 1/4 cup butter. Cover with microwave-safe lid. Microwave on high 16-18 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring twice. Set aside. Combine corn flake crumbs and butter in small microwave dish and microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Sprinkle mixture over corn. 12 servings. |
