LESLEY ANN WARREN'S NO - BAKE
BOURBON BALLS
 
1 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tbsp. white corn syrup
Powdered or confectioners sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. bourbon

In a good sized bowl, place vanilla wafer crumbs. Add chopped pecans, 1 cup powdered sugar and the cocoa. In a separate bowl, mix corn syrup and 1/4 cup bourbon. Add dry ingredients and mix. The mixture should be moist enough to form readily into a ball. If it isn't, add another drop of bourbon. To lend an extra aromatic savor, moisten your hands with bourbon when making balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Keep cool until ready to use. Makes 48 or more balls.
