STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. cranberries (cut in 1/2)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream
1/2 c. butter

Mix sugar, molasses and egg. Dissolve soda in hot water and add to molasses mixture. Mix in flour. Add cranberries and chopped nuts. Place batter in 1 1/2 quart covered casserole. Place casserole in pan and add water to about 1 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

SAUCE: Mix ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Serve sauce over individual servings.
