BANANA BREAD 
3 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder combined with 2 tbsp. sour cream
Butter to grease the pan

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add sugar, butter, and eggs. Beat until well blended. In a separate bowl, sift the salt and flour together. Combine with banana mixture. Add the baking powder-sour cream mix. Grease an 8-inch pan and pour mixture into it. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Serves 6 to 8
