STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
2 c. fresh cranberries, cut in half
2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. flour

Put soda, water and molasses in bowl. Add 1/2 cup flour and mix. Add cranberries and rest of flour and blend well. Pour into pudding mold or bowl covered tightly with foil and steam in covered pot of simmering water approximately 1 1/2 hours until firm. Serve with vanilla sauce.
