STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
2 heaping c. cranberries, cut
1/2 c. sugar, pour over cut cranberries
1/4 c. light or dark syrup
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 c. hot water with 2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt

Mix in order given. Pour into greased pan and steam for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serve with the following sauce:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. cream

Cook in double boiler for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
