STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

Add soda to molasses. Stir in boiling water and put molasses, boiling water and soda into a large mixing bowl. Sift flour and sift again with baking powder. Then combine with previous ingredients. Shake cranberries in paper bag with 1/2 cup flour. Lastly, mix in cranberries. Steam for 2 hours and keep replenishing water to maintain a 2-inch line on pan.
