PORK CHOPS AND SAUERKRAUT 
6 slices bacon, diced
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Dash pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. water
1 lb. can sauerkraut
3/4 c. canned applesauce
1 tbsp. butter
4 pork chops

Fry bacon and drain off drippings and save 2 tablespoons. Combine bacon, 2 tablespoons drippings, brown sugar, pepper, paprika, water, vinegar, kraut and applesauce. Mix well. Turn into lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Melt butter over low heat in frying pan. Add chops and brown well. Place browned chops on top of kraut mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
