OVEN POTATOES 
2 (24 oz.) boxes hash browns
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. cream (half & half)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic salt

Thaw potatoes so they flake. In a 2 1/2 to 3 quart casserole, put a layer of potatoes, half of the butter and salt and pepper and garlic salt liberally. Continue the pattern until you are out of potatoes. Pour cream on top. Bake uncovered for 2 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Stir mixture when you take it out of the oven.
