BACON CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
4 strips bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces.
1 cup milk
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 (8 oz.) block cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet begin browning ground beef.

When ground beef is half cooked through add chopped up bacon and cook until ground beef is completely browned.

Drain excess fat.

Add milk and bring to a boil. Add beef bouillon cube and flour. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.

Empty beef mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish.

Add cheddar cheese and mix lightly to incorporate but not fully melt cheese. Prepare drop biscuits.

DROP BISCUITS:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter, at room temp.
1 cup cold buttermilk

Add dry ingredients to a medium bowl.

Add butter and buttermilk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined - do not overmix.

Top casserole with drop biscuits and bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are browned.
