PEAR RELISH 
7 lb. pears
4 med. hot red pepper
4 med. sweet red pepper
12 lg. bell peppers
2 sm. cans pimento
3 c. brown sugar
1 qt. vinegar
3 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. turmeric powder

Put pears, peppers, and pimento through coarse blade of food grinder or chopper. Combine with remaining ingredients and cook uncovered over low heat until all ingredients are tender. Pour into hot jars and seal. Makes about 12 pints. Good with meats and vegetables.
