PEAR-TOMATO RELISH | |
2 1/2 c. peeled tomatoes 2 1/2 c. pears, peeled 1/2 c. chopped green peppers 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 jar pimento, drained Cook pears until done. Mash. Add all other ingredients, except pimento. Cook 1 hour slowly, stirring occasionally. Add pimento. Cook 5 more minutes. Put in hot jars and seal. |
