1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 (1 oz.) sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted 3/4 c. flour, sifted 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. confectioners sugar Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Blend in vanilla and chocolate. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts. Spread in greased 9-inch square baking pan. Dust confectioners sugar evenly on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 25 squares. |
