BEST FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Melt butter and chocolate; cool. While chocolate is cooling, mix together sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cooled chocolate mixture. Stir in dry ingredients. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a full boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Stir until cool and of good spreading consistency. Frost cooled brownies.
