LAYERED BEAN DIP 
1 (31 oz.) can refried beans
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, drained
1 env. taco seasoning mix
1 (16 oz.) jar taco sauce
Chopped ripe tomatoes to taste
Sliced black olives to taste
2 ripe avocados
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. sour cream
3 c. shredded lettuce
1 1/2 c. grated Longhorn cheese

Combine beans, chilies, taco seasoning and spread on serving platter. Blend avocado and lemon juice and taco sauce and spread over bean mixture. Then spread the sour cream over this layer. Last comes the lettuce, tomatoes, olives and cheese. Garnish with chips and serve with chips as an appetizer. Serves 10.
