JELLO PUDDING CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 serving) pkg. Jello brand vanilla or chocolate instant pudding
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts; optional

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix in large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, about 2-inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.

Makes about 7 dozen.
