BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
3 lg. bananas, mashed
5 tbsp. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts

Combine butter and sugar, add egg and beat. Add bananas and milk. Combine flour and baking soda, add baking powder. Add flour mixture to butter mixture; blend. Add nuts.

Line 1 large bread pan (or 2 small) with double thickness brown paper; or grease and flour pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 16 servings.
