GRAHAM CRACKER CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, separated
1/3 lb. graham crackers
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Roll out graham crackers. Add flour and baking powder. Cream sugar. Add vanilla and egg yolks. Add cracker mixture to milk and warmed butter. Bake in 2 greased cake pans, lined with waxed paper. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool 1/2 hour.

CUSTARD FILLING:

1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cook carefully until thickened. Cool before frosting layers.
